C&I Supervisor (Outages) – Contract – Newark (Nottinghamshire)

Location: Newark (Nottinghamshire)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable Energy and Nuclear sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Site based role, acting in a client / PMC capacity oversee the deliverables of subcontractors during a series of outages at a major power station.
• Will be responsible for ensuring subcontractors deliver agreed C&I support as per framework.
• Working 7 days per week (10 – 12 hours per day), with either in 1 in 7 or 2 in 14 days taken off.
• Outages due to run back to back from April until October, though will also need to be involved in planning and close out of the plans both before the first outage and also after the last so initial contract could be c.7-8 months of continuous work.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Must have proven background in a Site Supervisor role supporting outages for major power stations.
• Client-side experience overseeing work of subcontractors is essential.

Additional Information

• Our client has a lengthy backlog of work on similar power stations throughout the UK so there is a high probability of continue work beyond this initial assignment.
• Rate is all in (i.e. cost of any travel, accommodation and meals must be included in the agreed hourly rate).
• Role can be Ltd Company, outside IR35.
